“Anime ✕ Fukushima ~ The Making of Letter to the Future” is going Live!

”Let’s express the light and shadow side of Fukushima by anime.”

Following the governor’s word, the project of creating first documentary video of local government has started. Two creators from Fukushima were assigned to this project.

To Create 10 animations in total within 2 months of short time period, it was an ordeal of anxiety. For directors who didn’t experience the disaster from up close, there are huge mind gap between the characters they are going to create. By focus on the two creators from Fukushima, this program shows their journey of creation.
